The Institute of Digital Dentistry (iDD) has announced the results of its 2025 Global Intraoral Scanner Awards. Alliedstar received three honors: the People's Choice Award, IOS Overachiever Award, and Rising Star Award.

This marks the third consecutive year that Alliedstar has been recognized by iDD, reflecting continued industry recognition of the company's technological development and growing presence in digital dentistry.

A key highlight was the performance of Sensa, Alliedstar's latest Wireless Intraoral Scanner model, which takes home both the People's Choice Award and the IOS Overachiever Award. According to iDD, Sensa attributes its success to a premium scanning performance coupled with an intuitive software experience with AS Connect.

iDD also noted that Sensa maintained its extraordinary performance in challenging clinical scenarios, such as edentulous cases. The scanner remains one of the few scanning solutions that demonstrates excellence when handling full-arch workflows.

Combined with Alliedstar's proprietary DirectIP full-arch scanning solution, Sensa addresses the big challenge commonly associated with edentulous cases —— the stitching errors caused by soft tissue during scanning, therefore improving both efficiency and accuracy in full-arch scanning.

In addition to product recognition, Alliedstar received the Rising Star Award for its increasing influence in digital dentistry. iDD highlighted the company's AI-powered innovation, solid hardware functionality, and an integrated digital ecosystem, exemplified by the continuous development of its AS Connect platform.
